Dig In North West

Thank you so much to the members of the AAVMCC who attended the party at The Canberra Club, BAE, Balderstone. Your donation to Dig In via your raffle is very much appreciated, and will make a significant difference to the veterans that we support here in Preston and the surrounding area.

If we may, we would like to put the money towards a trip we are organising at the moment which involves the chance to walk with wolves in the Cumbrian countryside. This will give the team the chance to experience something new, and provide valuable distraction from uninvited thoughts.

Again, our sincere thanks.

We would be more than happy for you to use the funds for this charity in any way you see fit.
We hope to see you in the future so that our Southern Members can enjoy more Northern Hospitality.

Regards,

Fish

Dear President,

Meriden Megaride: Sunday, 26th June 2016

I am writing on behalf of the Rotary Club of Meriden and the Triumph Owners Club, [Meriden Branch], to ask you include our twelfth annual MEGARIDE in your club calendar.

The Megaride raises money for The Air Ambulance Service, (and next year for Marie Curie Cancer care), by asking riders to make a minimum donation of £6 to enter for the ride-in-convoy from Alcester to the event in Meriden.

Once at The Queen’s Head in Meriden, riders will be entertained by a rock band, trade stands, stalls & attractions and the sensational ‘No-where Else Auction’ featuring motor-cycling memorabilia.

Riders can also vote for the Best Classic and Best Modern bikes with trophies presented on the day.

Refreshments are available from the tea tents - and the pub – and there is adjacent camping & local B&Bs.

Please check out the web-site for more details and on-line registration or contact Neville Riley: neville-riley@uwclub.net

Regards,
Frances
